'Kireedam' climax altered

The Tamil version of the Malayalam blockbuster hit 'Kireedam' has started to earn rave reviews. Everybody's lauding Ajith's performance in the lead role.
But not many of his fans are happy with the tragic end to the film. Suresh Balaji, the film's producer has therefore decided to change the film's climax in order to please the fans. Why would anyone want to watch their hero lose?
Ajith's films have a strong repeat audience base and in order to appease them, the film will now have a more cheerful climax.
'Spatikam' is the other Mohanlal film that is now being remade in Tamil. Sundar C and Gopika are playing the lead roles in this remake.
