Swargachitra Appachan finally gets justice

The Tamil/Telugu versions of the Kannada version of 'Manichitrathaaz' have set records at box office. But Swargachitra Appachan is going to get some returns from the film after all!
When 'Chandramukhi' became a hit, Bollywood had become very curious to buy the remake rights. Big names like Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan were interested in starring in the film. Interestingly, Bollywood producers have approached Swargachitra Appachan for buying the remake rights.
There were talks that Bollywood is interested in dealing with Swargachitra Appachan directly because they were put off by the rates demanded by the Tamil version's makers.
