Amitabh undergoes operation

A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to the hospital with chronic abdominal pains. Doctors diagnosed it as Colitis.
Yesterday, the 63 year old superstar underwent an operation to treat the infection in his intestines. Bachchan will have to stay in the Intensive Care ward for atleast another week. The doctors have also prescribed 2 weeks of complete rest and staying at home for a month.
Bachchan’s anxious fans were reassured when they were told that the actor’s health condition was stable. But he is going to keep his work schedule to a minimum for the next month or so.
