Malayalam film industry is going to have a good start this year. Four films are going to be released this month.

‘The Lion’, ‘Kilukkam Kilukilukkam’, ‘Achan Urangaatha Veedu’ and ‘Rashtram’ are lined up for release this month. ‘The Lion’ has Dileep and Kavya Madhavan in the lead. Dileep plays the role of a student-leader-turned-politician. ‘Kilukkam Kilukilukkam’ has Kunhako Boban, Jayasurya and Kavya in the lead roles. Mohanlal and Priyadarshan are making special appearances. The film is a sequel to ‘Kilukkam’. This is going to be released on the 21st of this month. 

Director Lal Jose’s ‘Achchan Urangaatha Veedu’ will be the first to hit the theatres this year. Salim Kumar pays the lead role in this emotional drama.

The month ends with ‘Rashtram’, which is expected to get released on the 26th. Suresh Gopi and Laya play the lead roles.
