From one superstar to another

It was only recently that Lakshmi Rai made her debut in Malayalam with the box-office dud 'Rock & Roll'with Mohanlal in the lead. She will soon be seen with the other superstar Mammooty.
Lakshmi Rai continues to make regular headlines in Tamil for one controversy after the other. But the actress has a cleaner image in Malayalam. Her first film, 'Rock & Roll'flopped. That however hasn’t stopped the other superstar Mammooty from bringing her to his new film, 'Annan Thambi’.
Anwar Rasheed is going to direct this film. The director’s previous film, 'Chota Mumbai'had turned out to be a big hit for Mohanlal last year. He begins this year with a Mammooty film.
The film has Mammooty in dual roles. Lakshmi Rai is going to be the heroine of one of them. Needless to say therefore that there will be another heroine too.
