Towards the end of March, the Tamil version of 'Katha Parayumbol' began. This one revolved entirely around the superstar. But within two months, the director has completed the entire film and is now busy with the post-production works. The film was recently sold for a massive Rs 65 Crores.

Rajinikanth's previous film 'Sivaji' became a record-setter in Kerala. 'Sivaji' is the highest-grossing Tamil film in Kerala. Though expectations are on about Kamalhasan's new film 'Dasavathaaram', 'Kuchelan' too is now creating big talks in the state.

The film is going to be released on the 18th of July.

Competition is going to be tough because 'Kuchelan' is going to almost clash with the Kamalhasan film.
