Prithviraj was always interested in getting into directing films at some point of time in his career. But the actor has also made it clear that for the time being atleast he is more than interested in just sticking to acting alone.

That however hasn't stopped him from getting the feel of the job when he starred as a director in the Tamil version of 'Udayanaanu Thaaram'. The film, 'Vellithirai' has turned out to be a hit at the box office. Prithviraj is concentrating equally on Tamil and Malayalam films. For every Tamil film that he does, he makes it a point to star in atleast two Malayalam films.

Along with his two Malayalam films with superstars Mammooty and Mohanlal, Prithiraj is also working in a film with director Ranjit.

'Thirakatha' is the name of the film and he stars as a director this time…
