If you didn't hear the dialogues of a newly launched film in Tamil, you'd have thought that it was the shooting of a Malayalam film, because all the leading stars and technicians in the film are well-known personalities from the Malayalam film industry.
Priyadarshan has now decided to make a film in Tamil with his long time buddy Fazil as the director.
Fazil, who specializes in making love stories, has picked up Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas to play the lead roles in the film. Though Chennai is one of the venues, most of the film is going to be shot in the Gulf countries. Mamta Mohandas is on a break and is now in the Gulf. Since the film is also going to be shot there, she has decided to accept the offer.
Meanwhile Prithviraj's new Tamil film 'Vellithirai', which is the remake of 'Udayanaanu Thaaram', will not make its way to the theatres on Shankranthi. Instead, they'll have to wait for the second week of February. It seems they still have to shoot a song sequence. But, some claim that they had postponed the film in order to avoid the Pongal rush.
