"I think I know who the mafia is"- Innocent
- 09.07.2008
When the film fraternity, excluding the current members of MACTA (we don't know how many of them continue to be members of the organization) gathered to launch a new parallel organization, it was an occasion of fun and celebrations.
When AMMA's president, Innocent began his speech, he said, "Director Vinayan would always ask us to watch out for the movie mafia. He wouldn't tell us who they are but he'd warn us about them. He'd say that the mafia would always try to dominate the industry and impose their wills on others.
"I think I now finally realize who he was talking about. When you're in a position of power, it only makes sense that you act with some humility and a sense of responsibility. Instead, if you try to impose your will on others, it is only a matter of time before people start revolting," he said.
Much is expected from the new organization and everybody is waiting with eagerness to see how far this association goes in delivering its goods.
