On an average, Navya Nair had been successful in her film career. Just when her career was going to take off in Malayalam, she shifted to Tamil and got herself involved in some rumors.

Other than that bad decision, she still continues to enjoy reasonably good popularity. But ask her about her friends' circle and she has nothing good to say.

"I don't have any friends in the film circle. Right now my best friends are my parents and brother. I did have lots of friends when I was in school. Some of them had been my classmates since my Class I. But I lost most of them after getting into films.

"People in the film industry think that I'm a very headstrong person because I don't go about interacting with them freely. That is not true at all. I'm from a very simple family. I grew up in the villages. So, I don't know how to go about mingling freely with everybody. I don't feel the kind of closeness with others the way I feel with my family members," she confesses.
