Sharat Kumar replaces Superstar!
- 15.05.2008
Long before 'Chandramukhi' happened and soon after the box office disaster called 'Baba', Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was seriously toying with the idea of starring in a film named 'Jaggubhai'.
The film was dropped when P Vasu approached him with 'Chandramukhi'. The rest is history.
All along, KS Ravikumar, who was supposed to direct 'Jaggubhai' used to say that the film is very much alive and will be made sooner or later. His words have now come true, but with a different lead actor. Now that Rajinikanth has accepted the offer to star in director Shanakr's 'Robo', he is going to be stuck in the project for the next two years atleast.
Though Rajinikanth still maintains strong friendship with KS Ravikumar, the latter thought that it would be a better idea to simply go ahead with his film without Rajini. He has now brought in Sharat Kumar for the title role.
Sharat Kumar is now starring in the much-delayed and jinxed 'Pazasshiraja' in Malayalam.
