Aish in 'Robot'?

Whenever Rajinikanth announces a film, the name of Aishwarya Rai invariably pops up. This time around, Rajini had announced two films- 'Kuchelan' and 'Robot'.
It looks as if in 'Kuchelan', he wouldn't have a heroine. The film is the remake of 'Katha Parayumbol'. Simran is the heroine of this film. She will be Pasupathy's wife in
the film. The role was played by Meena in 'Katha...'
So, attention has shifted to the other film, 'Robot'. The name of Deepika Padukone was making the rounds for a long time. But rumors have now started that
Rajinikanth and Shankar are giving serious thought about bringing in Aishwarya Rai. It was in Shankar's 'Jeans' that Aish made her film debut.
When she came to Chennai recently, she said that she wouldn't mind working in Tamil if the script is interesting. It is probably this response that has triggered the
rumors.
However, it is highly unlikely because even if the superstar wants to, his fans wouldn't like to see him romancing a much-married woman like Aishwarya Rai. Since
Shankar is also known for the slow pace with which he makes his films, they'll have to take chances. What if Mrs Bachchan ends up having a baby?
So, Deepika Padukone still remains the strong contender.
