The big budget offbeat film starring Mohanlal, 'Aakashagopuram' was supposed to have made its way to the theatres on the 14th of March. But the film's release now stands indefinitely postponed.

There seems to be two reasons for it. The film's director KP Kumar and his son, who also happens to be the producer, are particular about conducting the film's premiere in Norway. The film's release has now run into delay because nobody knows when the Norway premiere is going to happen.

The other reason is a more obvious one.

Mohanlal is not at all happy with the fact that his most recent release, 'College Kumaran' too had turned out to be a very average performer at the box office. Everybody is very well aware of the fact that 'Aakashagopuram' isn't going to have much of a box office appeal. Another flop on the list isn't something that he is going to like.

Moreover, he now awaits the release of his new film with director Sathyan Andhikaat. He doesn't want this film to affect the results of the Vishu release.
