Director forces actor to consume ganja!

In order to make the characters more and more convincing, directors have now started going a bit too overboard with their ideas. Only recently, a Tamil director made headline news for all the wrong reasons when he slapped Padhmapriya to bring out a "convincing performance" from her.
Now, another director, who already is known for his eccentricities, will soon make headlines for similar reasons.
The shooting of 'Naan Kadavul' has reached its final stages now. For the climax scene, the director reportedly had compelled the film's hero to constantly smoke ganja in order to make his sway and body language more convincing. The hero was on a ganja binge throughout the day.
As soon as shooting ended, he was given the antidote to break the effect of the herb. What makes this particularly obnoxious is the fact that the film's hero is a non-smoker and had never tried such substances before in his real life.
We hope the film's results are worth all these dangerous experimentations.
