Dileep is now looking forward to the release of his new film 'Mulla' with director Lal Jose. He has had a not so good year in 2007 with most of his films only recovering the costs. Lal Jose is someone with whom Dileep had come up with some blockbuster hits. So, 'Mulla' is something that he is eagerly waiting for.

This time around, Dileep has tonsured his hair and has tried to project himself as a ruffian. Newcomer Meera Nandan is the heroine.

The film was meant to hit the theatres last week, but now stands postponed to the 27th of March, in order to avoid the empty-theatres during the exam season.
