Muthu Chettiar is a middle-aged undertaker and corpse-rescuer. When a corpse has to be picked up from a river or from the deep ravines that even the most courageous cop wouldn't want to tread upon, they call Muthu Chettiar. He rescues the corpses and even cremates them.

His grown-up son Nakulan is not so supportive of his profession. The film is about the battles between the father and the son.

This is Sharat Chandran's new film after 'Annorikkal'. Kalabhavan Mani eagerly looks forward to this film because his role is very powerful in the film. Rehman plays the role of his son in the film. Incidentally, Mani and Rehman had played the roles of thief and corrupt cop respectively in their previous film together.

The director hasn't decided the heroines yet.
