Story- ‘Deviathinde Kaioppu’ is a murder-mystery. The film begins in a ladies hostel. One of the inmates, the beautiful and young Dr Aparna, lies dead in her bed. Dr Aparna owned a hospital in the city. Post-mortem reveals massive cardiac arrest as the reason for her untimely death. The case is closed. But an anonymous email to the city Superintendent of Police raises suspicion and he decides to reopen the case.
Aparna’s husband (played by Sai Kumar), her colleague Dr Mallika (played by Nikhita) and her husband, Advocate Anand (played by Indrajit) soon find themselves drawn into the vicious circle…
The film was inspired by a short story written by KK Sudhakaran.
This is Jyothirmayi’s first film in Malayalam after her marriage.
Nikhita is the heroine.
