Story

 Indhulakshmi is a research scholar in Sociology. She comes to Thiruvananthapuram to meet her husband-to-be, the sub-collector Anup Bhaskar. The very first trip to the place turns out to be an unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons. The day she arrives, the city is paralyzed with student strikes. The students were protesting the half-hearted police enquiry into the mysterious death of a medical student, a girl named Anamika.

Indhulakshmi is doing a research on the increasing incidents of suicide among college students. Her very first case turns out to be the one involving the dead student Anamika. She starts speaking to the dead girl's parents. With that, the story begins to pick up pace…
