Sporting the khaki uniform is an addiction. Prithviraj is realizing it now. For the third time in a very short duration, he is getting ready to play the role of a police officer again.

'Khaki' is the name of the film and he stars as Sub Inspector Unnikrishnan. This time around, Prithviraj is a good cop unlike his previous film, 'Vargam' (in which he played the role of a cop who couldn't care less as long as his 'fee' was paid). Unnikrishnan gets transferred to a police station and gets very embarrassed to work there because his elder brother, Ramakrishnan, played by Mukesh, is the head constable of the station.

While Unnikrishnan is motivated by a sense of duty to work as a police officer, Ramakrishnan's main "inspiration" is his family. He needs the job to provide for them. Meera Vasudevan is his wife.

The film's shooting had ended in one schedule and awaits release in another few weeks.
